Role Play Sample

Honking, traffic, citizens talking on their phones walking along the sidewalks; all of these sounds can be heard as Jupiter wakes up from his previous night's rest. He glances over to his alarm clock that is sitting on a small night stand beside his bed. The red numbers clearly read 8:34 am. His eyes slowly close and he pulls up the sheets to cover his shoulders. A small feint buss sound can be heard coming from the clock. There is a gentle pull of the blanket draped over his body and a quick turn to the other side of the bed. Suddenly, Jupiter's eyes fling open as if he has seen the worst. This is the worst, he is 34 minutes late for his job, again.The bedding flies high into the air and comes falling back down onto an empty bed. Jupiter rushes into the bathroom, toothbrush in his mouth and one leg inside a pair of black pants. He clearly has done this a few times before as he seems to be quite good at multitasking the two tasks. Scrubbing the brush back and forth, and pulling the pants up he finishes with both and throws the toothbrush into the sink. There was no water involved in this process, not even toothpaste. He manages to find a white button up shirt on the floor that he wiggles his way in. The last thing he does is craftily grabs his keys from the hook on the wall next to the door. Slam! The door shuts behind him.
